Please bring your own toiletries (shampoo, soaps, etc.). Feel free to bring your own fishing rod, favourite sports equipment, bikes, etc. Please, bring your own water bottle (refillable anywhere in camp) so you can stay hydrated during the day and don't forget to bring a white 100% cotton shirt to have some tie dye fun!

Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and beach umbrellas or mats to find comfort on the waterfront and around their cottage. Each cottage will have cleaning supplies available. You should bring a good supply of hand sanitizer for your family's use, and masks for each person to wear, when 2 meter / 6 feet distancing can not be met or when you feel the need to wear them.

How do families know which activities they can go to?

You will be asked prior to arrival which activities you would like to participate in. Activities will be scheduled prior to your stay and provided to you upon arrival along with a facility map. Please be aware that you may not get your first choice of activity each period, but we will ensure you will participate during your week.

When is Check-in & Check-out?

Check In will be between 3pm – 4pm on Sundays. Upon arrival at Camp Muskoka, please stay in your vehicle and one of our hosts will meet and greet you. You will be screened and directed to your accommodations, where you can park your vehicle and unload.

Check Out is at 11:00am Saturdays. We ask that you leave your cottage "sweep clean", garbage put in its place, and all personal belongings removed.

Can I stay on-site after check-out?

Unfortunately, not. To ensure our team can properly sanitise our facilities between families, all guests are required to leave the site on Saturday no later than 11:00am checkout. Should you wish to enjoy Muskoka a little longer, our staff would be happy to offer several options to suit your family’s tastes.

Should we get tested before coming to Camp Muskoka?

The current guidelines do not require you to get tested before coming to camp. We will have a screening process prior to and upon arrival that meets the public health guidelines.

Can we bring our family pet?

Unfortunately, no.  To minimise allergens for our guests in our accommodations, we do not permit family pets.

Can we rent the entire camp?

Of course! If you are a group of families and/or friends interested in having exclusive use of the camp, you can enjoy the entire facility! Contact us soon so we can save the date.

What is the refund policy?

If, due to COVID-19, the government re-issues a ban to operate short term rentals during the time of your booking, you will be fully refunded. If your reason for cancellation is not related to COVID-19, you will receive a full refund as long as you provide a minimum 1 week notice prior to the start of your reservation.

Camp Muskoka reserves the right to cancel programs based on new and revised directives or guidelines from regulatory and health authorities.
